Dear Friends,
My recent Messages regarding Love emphasise the truth of our Being.
But in a world of chaos and confusion how do we realistically retain our own inner calm and peace long enough to BE that love?
For me, the answer came in one of my earliest conversations with the Divine: I was asked to become an “IS”.
What’s that?” I asked, totally non plussed.
“An Ineffable Servant” came the answer….
(My ego was hoping for some grand title!!)
In time I came to realise that I was simply being asked to GIVE: to give fully of my time, my energy, my support, my care, my compassion, my focus, my love……indeed my life itself.
My first reaction as you can imagine – was “but what about me and my needs???”.
And the answer was crystal clear: Give and you shall receive.
Since that time nearly forty years ago I have received abundantly in so many ways.
Blue skies, sunshine, fresh air, healthy living, joy-filled days, miraculous love, beautiful friendships, priceless truths, a rich and fulfilling life style…..
For me, the proof was in the process.
This was the Message:
Give without hesitation as you have received without hesitation.
Give without conditions as you have received without conditions.
Give without thought of getting as you have received without thought of getting.
Give without end as you have received without end.
Give and you will get all you need to give again.
Herein lies the very purpose of your life.
Herein lies the Love you seek…….
Herein lies the Peace beyond understanding.
For me, whenever I give I am supported, if ever I seek “to get” I feel myself alone and adrift.
We may well momentarily “get” what we think we want or need but the fulfilment is nearly always fleeting.
But when we “give” we step into “Divine Is-Ness” and life finally makes sense.
Getting and Giving are the two polarities of Life we choose between each moment.
Choose Getting and enjoy your struggles.
Choose Giving and watch miracles unfold!! It truly is that simple.
