SAYINGS NOT WORTH SAVING….

Dear Friends,

Last week I looked at the popular saying: “Time Heals All Wounds”.

I thought I’d throw in two others for you to throw out…..

The first: “Curiosity killed the cat”…… and the second:  “Ignorance is bliss.”

They’re both interconnected and stupidly suggest we remain “blissfully” unaware…

Unaware of anything that isn’t slap bang in front of us, whacking us around the face…..

Things like the extraordinary meaning of life…..

The continuity of existence after ‘death’…..

The joy to be found in kindness…..

The riches to be found in gratitude……

The blessings to be found in spiritual connection……

The pleasures to be found in inner peace…..

The love to be found in everything around us…..

These mediaeval sayings arose during a period when everyone had to fight for survival: it was that period’s ‘safety’ manual.

But it simply promoted war – between peoples, families, companies….

They were utterly stupid sayings.

Why? How?

Well, remain ignorant and we’ll never appreciate the sunshine of life.

Avoid curiosity and society will revert to its original animal state.

Instead, seek for answers about everything….

Be curious about everything…..

Be in awe of who you are…. what you are….. and where you are…..

It’s our premier ticket to salvation!!!!

Blessings,

Peace Be Within You!

Les
