That’s because there is no-one quite like you in the world!
So you are actually a group-of-one.
Quite unique.
Now I know this might upset you, especially if you’ve been hoping to join the Majority.
But here’s the secret: even those that think they’re in the majority, aren’t.
Just rub them up the wrong way on anything from religion to politics to taxes to race equality to status to gender choices to ideal weight to food choices to best popular singer of the last fifty years…..and you’ll see just how individual they actually are!!
That doesn’t mean your minority status stops you from mixing with other people….indeed it’s vital for society to function!
But they are all different.
Every last one of them.
From everyone else.
That includes you.
Yes, you are unique!
An extraordinary aspect of the Divine that is exclusive to your life, here, now.
That’s the good news!
It means you can stop comparing yourself with Bill, Bob, Betty or Bambi.
You can stop wishing you had Greg’s pecks or Susie’s breasts.
Or my hairstyle. Or Paris Hilton’s golden locks.
You can stop wishing you were as rich as Gina Rinehart or as clever as Elon Musk.
You can stop comparing yourself with the doctor, the dentist and the plumber.
You are YOU!
Be proud of that!
Stand up TALL by being the best you can be at being You……
Become President and Publicity Officer of your own Group-of-One.
Strive to make your Group the best it can be.
You are unique and special because God doesn’t make failures!
You were created to shine.
So shine!
That means making the most of the tools the Divine loaned you….your smile, your compassion, your caring nature, your loving, your sharing, your humour, your time, your ears, your voice, your creativity, your energy, your positivity, your divine nature……
Share ‘you’ with the other Minority Groups that live in the same house as yours. And with all the other minority groups across your town, your workplace, your schools, your churches, your country…….
Before long the idea that there was ever a Majority Group will have faded.
And a rich sense of ‘community’ will take over…..
A community of caring Minority Groups of One.
