Three Wonders

This Week……….Thankyou and…..Wow!!

Firstly, let me thank those of you who were able to help Irene afford a “new” secondhand van to live in until her number comes

up for a subsidized single bedroom unit.

She’s been waiting a few years now – but must be getting closer!

So thankyou, thankyou, thankyou for your wonderful generosity!

Now…..three facts that may well bring a “wow!” to your mind….

  1. Astronomers believe that atoms (the building blocks of our reality) account for just 5% of the entire Known universe!
The rest (95%!!) is called “dark matter” and “dark energy” and nobody knows what it is or how it relates to ‘life’!!
So next time you think “what’s it all about Alfie?” you and the world’s astronomers can agree together! And you can be certain there’s far more to life than what you can see!!
  2. Astronomers have calculated that there are about 60 billion potentially-habitable planets in the Milky Way alone!!
Yes, 60 billion planets just in our small corner of space!
The Milky Way is so small it accounts for less than one part in ten trillion of the observable universe!
So it’s virtually impossible for us to be alone (and hopefully nowhere near the top 50% intelligence-wise)!!!
  3. Finally, scientists say that life on Earth became capable of replicating itself some 4 billion years ago! Before then it was just “stuff” but it didn’t live and die as ‘life’……
The big questions have NO answers to: What caused the
Change? Why? How? What makes it so? What maintains it?
You can be sure it wasn’t and isn’t a mistake…..

So….for those who still think that life is just very ordinary and simply starts, grows and then dies…..and there’s nothing ‘out there’ and no-one greater than Mr Trump….

Surprise! Surprise!

And Welcome to a Universe and Intelligence far, far, far, far beyond Canberra, Washington, Moscow, Beijing or the Vatican!

Have another beautiful, peace-filled week of awesome wonders….!!!!
