This Week……….Three More Wonders!!
Today…..three more facts that may well bring a “wow!” to your mind….
- Our DNA is 99% identical with a chimpanzee; and 50% identical to a banana……so we’re not just related to monkeys but to everything that lives on this planet!Yep! That’s how unique and special we are!!!Surely, it’s time we accepted all of life as part of our personal family – and treated it accordingly???!
- Many of us have 3 times as many neurons as a gorilla.On average, around 86 billion. Now a neuron is a complex partof the brain that functions by receiving and sending electrical and chemical messages to other parts of the brain.
- This makes us highly advanced gorillas!Not everybody is quite as advanced, of course……as the eveningTV news can attest….Are there other universes, different to ours?
The answer is: almost certainly, yes.
The multiplicity of options that create life as we know it couldjust as easily create life alternatively!
What we see, hear, feel and sense could just as easily be replicateda trillion times in a quintrillion ways….
So….for those who still think that their personal life is the penultimate expression of beauty or intelligence or power…..
