Dearest Friends,
Your society limps from turmoil to turmoil; from confusion to chaos.
Your world reflects your turmoil and your chaos – and does so that you might awaken and heal yourselves…..
So let me remind you……
God is the hurting heart you carry within you.
God is the cry that love and peace replace complaint and anger.
God is the wish that peoples everywhere turn inward with humility and gratitude.
God is the yearning for compassion and care instead of selfishness and greed.
God is the still, small but resilient Voice that calls out for courtesy and respect by all towards all.
God is also the tears you drop when you experience the violence of a world in tumult.
It is the sadness that swells up within you for the insanity that spreads far and wide.
It is the grief for a people that have turned their back on the loveliness of creation; and the lovingness they could equally offer.
Out of the mud grows the lotus flower.
Yet this is not a world of rich mud but of insatiable fire and flame.
Out of this unimaginable inferno comes both death and regrowth.
Seek inside therefore for solace.
Seek outside for pockets of peace and calm.
Know all will be well after the chaos of a community gone mad is replaced with a communion of the gentle and caring…..
Visualise its gentle unfoldment constantly, daily, often……
That is what God asks of you.
Do it and watch your society heal and your natural world bloom peacefully again.
Your answers lie inside you.
The seed you seek you have been given already……
Peace be within you.
